No Great Dark Man....

So...Quentin Crisp is a hero of mine....has been for awhile...his unabashed in your face represetation of his sexuality in a time when it wasnt even THOUGHT OF to be slightly open.....He was a trailblazer...and a style icon as well......

Many years later...Ms Gina X decided to immortalize him in one of my most favourite new Wave songs ever...."No G.D.M."...which stood for Great Dark Man...the "unachieveable" man that ever Queer searches for but will never find...because the TRUE man a Queer wants is a stright one...Now Quentin lived in different times....and had VERY different views on gay sexuality.....THAT'S why I present this song to you...again...as a reminder of the past...so we will not be doomed to repeat it!!!!!
