"Here is London...Giddly London....."
So i came across some more photos from last years London trip....This day i met my friend Roberto at the V&A...but before that i wanted to check out "Hornets" a famous Menswear shop renowned for its hats....and on the way i came across a lovely little church....St May Abbots Church on Kenisington High street....
Beautiful...gothic...romantic...eveyrthing i love in a church....awash in carvings and stained glass and smelling of burning wax and incense.....I was alone and was able sot spend some quite moments inside reflecting and taking photos...
the Sir Himself.....
I bought a delightful red derby here...the gentleman as very knowledgeable and i had to resist buying many of the original military jackets they had on hand there!!!
I took a walk past the Natural History museum on the way to the V&A and didn't get to go inside but marveled at the beautiful façade of the building....beautiful depictions of animals were everywhere....
I finally met Roberto and I Wasn't able to take many photos inside the V&A...except i snuck this one...i just HAD to.....
after the V&A Roberto took me to the Brompton Cemetery...not just because he knows how i like cemeteries BUT because it is a famous Gay cruising ground and filled with men lurking about behind headstones and crypts....it was lush and beautiful and a cool little peek into a part of Londons Gay underbelly....It made me feel so Joe Orton and all..... ;)
It may have been a "dreaded sunny day" but All and all a lovely day in London with a friend...
XOXO
